Celestia means “heavenly” in Latin, which is a fitting moniker for this luxury Indonesian yacht.
She was crafted by Konjo shipbuilders in Sulawesi using traditional techniques passed down through the generations. Interior designer Dierdre Renniers added classic and contemporary touches that complement the teak and ironwood Phinisi design. The result is a sublime 45-metre, 7-cabin sailboat that pays homage to the past while offering modern luxuries. Step onboard Celestia and you find yourself amidst gorgeous wooden beams and huge windows that frame the spectacular scenery outside. The furnishings are minimalist enough not to not detract from the views, but utterly comfortable and inviting. Inside there is a dining area with cushioned benches and a comfortable saloon with books and board games. Outdoors on the main deck there are huge daybeds where you can bask in the sun during the day and gaze at the stars at night.
The seven staterooms on Celestia are fresh and modern with decor sourced from Balinese artisans. Earthy elements like rattan panels and smooth wooden floors have a grounding effect, while the marble countertops and blue tiles in the bathroom add touches of luxury. There are two owner suites on the upper deck and master suite on the main deck, each with a private sun deck and lounging area. The four guest suites are located on the lower deck. Each stateroom has its own ensuite bathroom and large windows to let fresh air and natural light in.
